Highgate House Training Centre, at Highgate House School, Hong Kong has worked collaboratively with Crossfields Institute, UK to develop this specialist Early Years qualification in Steiner Years Early Years Education. From 2021 we are delighted to now be offering a new qualification titled “Conscious Teaching : Steiner Waldorf Early Years Education – Level 4 Diploma”. This will benefit students in Hong Kong significantly more, as this new course will include an increased number of hours for meeting some of the differing overseas requirements for qualified early years teacher recognition, including Hong Kong. This will replace the previous CACHE diploma course and the new intake of students will start March 2021.
We offer a part-time, 2 year Conscious Teaching: Level 4 Diploma in Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Education. Applications are NOW OPEN for our fifth intake of students for the March 2021 intake. Click HERE to download the course brochure or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application form and for any other queries. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis and the course capacity is limited to ensure high quality of teaching.
The course is suitable if you are looking for a recognised, accredited qualification in early years care and education and wish to specialize in the Waldorf approach to early childhood.
Our course will be officially recognised by the Steiner Waldorf Schools Fellowship (UK) as the required training for Steiner Waldorf kindergartens: it has a clear focus on the specific principles and practice of Waldorf kindergartens.
The aim of this qualification is to provide the learner with the expertise, skills and professional approach needed to be a Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten Teacher and Early Years Educator and includes classroom based and placement hours. Learners completing this qualification may proceed directly to work in either a Steiner Waldorf Early Years or a mainstream setting.
